DWS Funds Hires Ombuds

In December 2006, DWS Funds (known until recently as the Scudder Funds), reached a settlement with regulators regarding alleged market-timing arrangements from three years ago. In addition to paying refunds and ensuring better oversight, DWS reportedly has also hired an ombudsman to enable employees to raise ethics questions without fear of retribution from management.
