The top-ranked medical school affiliated with New York University has implemented an Ombuds program for students, faculty and staff. Dean Emeritus for Medical Education, Dr. Barry Stimmel is the first Ombudsperson. Stimmel has been an expert in the fields of internal medicine, cardiology, medical education and addiction medicine, and has served in a variety of administrative positions, including Assistant Dean of Admissions and Student Affairs.
