The public research university in London, Ontario has opened a search for an Ombudsperson. The full-time position serves a student body of about 25,000 and administers UWO's Office of the Ombudsperson.
Applicants must have a master's degree or higher; professional training in conflict resolution or related area; 5-7 years of relevant experience, and previous experience in an academic setting. The position pays $57,670-$82,250 CDN and applications are due July 18, 2011. Currently, Jennifer Meister is the Acting Ombudsperson and Anita Pouliot is the Assistant Ombudsperson.
