The University of California division of Agriculture and Natural Resources has updated its guide to conflict resolution. The 2009 edition, "Party-Directed Mediation: Helping Others Resolve Differences," is available as a free PDF. The approach differs from typical mediations, where the neutral dominates conversation, as is consistent with the approach taken by Ombuds when facilitating dialog.
