The Faculty Executive Committee at Grinnell has formed an ad hoc task force to consider whether the College should create an Ombuds program. The Ombuds Committee was recommended by a committee charged with reviewing governance issues, which was prompted in part by a personnel matter in Student Affairs. The Ombuds Committee was formed on September 21 and the results of its work are not yet public.
