Rachel Corbett, the Ombuds for Canadian athletes at the Commonwealth Games in India, will give a talk at Brock University on November 23 at 5:00 pm. Corbett will describe her experiences at the games working with the Canadian delegation of 400.
Corbett was selected to be the first-ever Ombuds for Team Canada by the Commonwealth Games, AthletesCan and the Coaching Association of Canada. She blogged extensively about her experience for most of October 2010. Corbett is a founding partner at the Centre for Sport and Law in Toronto, a consulting firm that provides a range of services in risk management, dispute resolution, governance, policy development, communication and change management in the Canadian sport community.
