The restructured and relocated IOI has released a comprehensive annual report covering its first full operational year in Vienna.
The report covers the transition process, election of officers, membership and financial activity, recent activities, and near-term projects. As of September 2010, IOI had 122 institutional members from from 68 different countries. At that time, the organization had net assets of €87,484.75. The budget for 2010-11 anticipates a surplus of €13,600. The IOI has also entered into strategic relationships with the Secretary General concentrated on two international partners: the International Coordinating Committee of National Institutions for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights and the World Bank. The other leading Ombuds associations--IOA, USOA, ONO, FCO, ACCUO--do not publish annual reports for the general public.
