Suzy Rosen Singleton, the Ombuds at Gallaudet University, was interviewed for a recent article about sign-language interpreters working at concerts in Washington, DC.
Rosen Singleton said her favorite concerts were David Bowie and Led Zeppelin, but recently attended a Lady Gaga show with her daughter and friends. Before the ADA forced venues to provide interpreters for shows, Rosen Singleton said she would, "make up my own words," but now interpreters are critical to her enjoyment. (Washington Post.)
