The Provost's Office at UW-Madison is seeking at least one retired employee for its Ombuds Program. The appointment will replace John Mather, who will step down on June 30 after serving in the office since 2008.
The UW-Madison Ombuds service employs four retired UW-Madison employees who share one full-time position. Ombuds are selected from among interested retired faculty and academic and classified staff to achieve the greatest breadth and depth for the Program. The other three current Ombuds are Linda Newman, Richard Ralston and Pat Wolleat. (University of Wisconsin-Madison Community.)
