- Network at the food table.
 - I bring my workout gear, my ipod, and a bunch of blank expense sheets.
 - At the very least, speak up during the question-and-answer portions of the program.
 - Approach others with the idea of helping THEM.
 - Follow up immediately after the conference.
 - At the event, make connections for others.
