Western Michigan University has announced that it is seeking a faculty and staff member to fill the position of University Ombuds. Founded in 1970, WMU has the distinction of having one of the oldest University offices in the country. The position is now held by Dr. Thomas Bailey, who has served in a half-time capacity since January 2007 and was president of UCOA in 1999. Notice of the opening was posted on April 23 and applications are due by April 28. The position pays $47,367 to $55,419 per year. (WMU News; Careers at WMU.)
