Princeton University has hired Wokie Nwabueze, a vice president for ethics and employee resolution programs at Prudential Financial, as its next Ombuds Officer. Provost Christopher Eisgruber said Nwabueze, "has a demonstrated ability to work with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds, and she has a profound appreciation for the ethical role of an ombuds officer."
Nwabueze spent the last decade with Prudential, where hier ditues included resolving employment-related concerns through mediation, group facilitation, coaching and other techniques; managing and investigating business ethics allegations; coordinating an external mediation and arbitration program; and leading conflict management workshops and presentations. She has also worked as an Associate at the law firm of Pillsbury Winthrop and as a Staff Developer for Effective Alternatives in Reconciliation Services. Nwabueze earned her AB from Wellesley College and a JD from Columbia University. She succeeds D.A. Graham, who left Princeton to lead an independent consulting firm. (Princeton News.)
