A story on the long-running contract negotiations between the Minneapolis Public Schools and the Minneapolis Federation of Teachers notes that both sides have agreed to the creation of an Ombuds program. The Twin Cities Daily Planet said, "The district has agreed to MFT’s request to have an ombudsperson to deal with problem solving, and supports MFT’s Problem Solving Protocol."
