The FDA is hiring an Ombudsman to work in the Office of Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity Management in Silver Spring, Maryland. The office has long been a resource for resolving workplace concerns within the FDA, but it appears that the Ombuds function may be new.
The position will "serve as a dispute resolution practitioner whose major function is to provide confidential and informal assistance to managers and employees in resolving work-related issues and disputes." This vacancy is open to current permanent Title 5 Federal government employees, reinstatement eligibles, individuals eligible under CTAP Definition and Title 42 employees with status.
