1. Thomas A. Edison
Thomas Edison is probably the most famous and productive as the inventor of all time, with more than 1,000 patents in his name, including electric light bulbs, phonograf, and film cameras. He became a multi-millionaire himself and won the Congressional Gold Medal. Colonel Harland Sanders managed to overcome the lack of education to become the largest employers in the business of fried chicken. His father died when she was six years old, and because his mother worked, he was forced to cook for her family.
