Three new directors have been appointed to the Board of Certification for Certified Organizational Ombudsman Practitioners:
- Constance Bernard, Ombudsman - International Bank for Reconstruction and Development;
- Wendy Friede, Principal - Friede Consulting Services; and
- Robert C. Bordone, Director of Harvard Negotiation & Mediation Clinical Program and professor, Harvard Law School.
Bordone is a 'public director' (not a practicing Ombuds) as required by the CO-OP bylaws. Bernard and Bordone's terms begin in September and Freide's in October. The appointments fill vacancies left by Carolyn Noorbakhsh (who stepped down in July), Diane Dorian (who will be retiring in October), and public member David Brubaker whose term ended in August.
